Ok so I seen two mustangs on a lot while I was out today. One was an 97 conv cobra and the other was an 04 gt. So I called the lot once they opened up and asked what they were asking for either one of them. For the 04 he wanted 12,500 and it had 105k miles. Kinda high but this is where the **** hit the fan next. For the 97 cobra with 40k miles he wanted 25k b/c it's supercharged. Then he tells he he has another 97 cobra with 500 miles on it and he wants 50k. What a joke!! This was freaking hilarious to me and of course I thanked him for his time.

What a dumbass - I would have asked him if he's looked on craigslist or ebay lately. You could get a Mach1 for the price of their GT, less miles too.

I've seen this before. Most of the cars at these mid-high end used car dealerships are cars that the banks have re-poed, or they have damage. Most were bought at auto auctions, and these used dealerships will get some joe blow to fork down 2k on a 25k car with a 5-6 year loan at 15%.
