Just curious, is it okay to runs cats only for an exhaust system? I currently have the Bassani X-Pipe with bullet style high flow cats and no mufflers. Admittedly it is loud, but I don't mind... I have noticed it is especially loud during start up...Does my setup allow the engine enough back pressure? What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

I would imagine as long as it's not setting off any check engine lights, it's probably not "hurting" anything, per say. It's not doing anything for performance though. Probably costing you a little torque and horsepower at a couple of spots in the powerband.

As long as you have cats you will have enough back pressure. Your setup is no different then running with an SLP axel back.

No Check Engine Light. Down low I think it lost a little bit.....

I was running the stock cats with no mufflers prior...This is definitely louder!
