Sitting still and revving doesnt show the true sound of a muffler... Only driving or under power videos work for that.

IMO

I kinda hear what you're saying at idle, but when he revs it it sounds like a 5.0. It would probably sound like a 5.0 when under load, my old combo sounded nothing like a Mustang in neutral, then when I put it in gear the 5.0 sound was there.

yeah liquid i agree you cant take away the 5.0 sound not that i want to i just envy all the 4.6 that all they have to do is slap on a flow catback and sound so awesome! and JBA is such an unused muffler so you never know?

My sisters 94 GT sounded almost Fbodyish... Funny thing was it only had an off road H and Mac Catback.

My car sounded different between the stock short block and a 1995 short block, no lie.

I know what you're getting at, as the 4.6s sound like they're running underwater esp the 4cam cars.

However this vid is attribute to ****ty sound quality of the camera.

I like the sound of a 4.6 w/exhaust but that is great. lol I have a neighbor with a 99'ish GT that has an off-road h-pipe and chambered mufflers (don't know the brand). It's also an automatic with stock gearing. Everytime he drives by now I'm going to have a vision of Chewbacca stuck in my head.

chewbacca....lol
i think underwater describes it the most man i would seriously run coffee cans packed with gold o something to make it sound like a 99+ gt YouTube - Cobra leaving Stealth Auto
not ^ a gt but you get the point..oh well my 5.0 is cooler any ol day...i just wish there was some kind of muffler out there that would do more than amufler could and produce and impossible sound thats all....my graduation gift to myself after i get my Bachelors is a 03-04 cobra all stock with only mod exhaust.....

Damn, now you guys are gonna make me think i'm driving Chewy every time i go drive my GT.

That definitely sounds like a 5.0. 4.6's have a more exotic "gurgle" to them, although the chewbacca comment is very fitting. 99-04 4.6'S sound more aggresive than the non-PI cars in my opinion

Here's my Chewbacca car
