Is it possible to install Accel Super Coil (Cylinder Style) On my Fox?

I Have a New Accel Super Coil (The Cylinder Shaped Ones) Can I install it on my Fox? I need info Quickly! Anyone know? Im guess I cut the stock TFI Clip off, and Instal the Green Wire to the positive and the Black to the ground side of this Coil. Anyone know if its possible or if it will work right? Going out to clean area up a bit, will chech back soon, Thanks in advance!

Hello! Dude you can't use that on your stang.They have a special one for stangs.I have a accel super coil for a 5.0 collecting dust on my work bench.I have a crane one on now. Later Sub

Oh, alright, so bascially theres no way to wire it up? Ohwell, I knew they had a special one, but I have a brand new(free) Cylinder one, I was wondering If I could use or not. I knew my baby has a different system, but just wanted to know. THANKS FOR THE REPLY

I don't see why you couldn't use it -- but I don't like to cut wires myself, so I wouldn't.

no you definitely can use it, i havle a blaster 3 msd cylinder coil so i know. let me see if i can find which wires do what.

Yeah, it will work, a coil is a coil.

Alright, how it is hooked up tho, Green(Tach) to Positive, and Black To Negative?

Low level Accel stuff is pretty much junk. I seriously doubt if it has the output of a stock EFI coil. The TFI system throws a pretty hot sparkto bigin with.
