If this last track closes on LI, illegal street racing will increase a lot! Anyone who closes a drag strip, especially when it's the only game in town, should be shot.
i'm pretty sure its open. i have seen trucks towing cars out east on sunrise hwy on saturdays and sundays. the name of there web site has changed. someone on here has it. i'm just not sure what the name of the site is. when i went to the site it did have a 2004 schedule.
i was talking to one of my friends the other night and he heard that they are closing in 3 weeks. the last week to race is memorial weekend. i dont know if thats true or not.
