Is My Cobra Intake Manifold Restricting Power?

I have a 93 mustang the guy I got it from said it had trick flow heads cobra intake manifold e303 cam forged crank rods and pistons with triple valve springs and a 4 link suspension last time I ran it i did a dissapointing 14.100 since then I added a chip module and advanced my timing I'm thinking of buying a elderbrock performance rpm2 soon and 3.73 this week is my cobra manifold not letting me run my potencial hp? And how much hp should I be pushing out? And suggestion will help and also should I go with bigger injectors
 
While the cobra probably is a bit of a restriction, you have more problems than just that. You can't just add a chip (well you can but it's a bad idea), to do it right the car must go to a dyno shop and be tuned, something not necessary with your parts combo.

But as said above, list your entire setup and the rest of the info in your run.

there for 1 is one thing you dont need. your pushing a lot of spring and adding a lot of valve spring weight for no reason

also what do you mean by a 4 link? the stock suspension? or does it have a paralell 4 link? as for the chip.. talk to the tuner who burned it and see if the chip has the timing advanced in it or you'll just be adding timing on top of adding timing.
what size injectors do you have currently?

id leave the cobra manifold on it for now. get it running right then start adding power
 
F8tlfiveo- I was passing the 1/4mile at 103-106 and my 60ft time I'm not sure what it is I been a few months since the last run but I am going to run it again on the 29th with 3.73 instead of stock gears and I also noticed my air filter was clogged since my last run not sure how much of a difference that would of made on my time and what I named is pretty much all I know on the car.

2000xp8- they says they tunned it at the shop where I got it chipped but will taking it to the dyno get it tuned better? And when you say something not right with my parts combo will I be able to tell with a dyno? Sorry if thats a dumb question never had a car go though a dyno.

And for the 4 link it does have the paralell 4 link, and when I advanced my timing I did call the shop and told them I advanced my timing they said as long as its not pinging it should be fine also when I advanced my timing I did go from regular unleaded to premium and I believe I have #19 injectors.
 
def need 24lb injectors... i wouldnt bother changing the valve springs its not going to kill a ton of power just not needed.

as for the 4 link... is it a true paralell 4 link as in cut out the stock stuff and back halfed the car or are the uppers still at an angle from the diff towards the outside of the car?

car should be high 12's with mph at 106
 
I believe the uppers are still at an angle cuz I been under the car and don't lok like nothing has been cut off and ill check if the uppers are at an angle in or towards the outside of the car

if you put 3:73's in it would make a nice difference..your 60ft times are prob :poo:ty with those gears. The first 60 ft is where you win or lose... My 60ft times are 2.0 and above, so I am in the same boat. My fastest has been [email protected] on drag radials.should be lower but my 60's suck..
