I just thought of something... My II doesn't have a keyhole for the trunk. The only way to open the trunk is from the button on the inside of the glovebox, were they all this way?

LOL! With Megan you never know if she is just kidding or really "on top of things" heh heh

PS. If not kidding Megan. Frenching in regards to cars is removing the keyholes/welding them over then smooth and refinish and wala no keyhole. The rest of us leghumpers couldn't resist referencing the "other" meaning of Frenching. lol

I could be wrong, but I believe "frenching" is when you recess something into the body, not when you remove it and fill the holes. Like a frenched antenna or frenched headlights.

"Shaving" is when you REMOVE something and fill the space where it was.

Sal,
Good point, I have always used both terms. But yes Sal is correct. Technically shaving is weld/fill. Frenching is recess/cover.
Perhaps, Megans trunk hole has been shaved. DOH!!!
