I know it's hard to take a picture of your own trunk so I'd be happy to do it for you.

;}

Not that I have a thing for shaved trunk holes. ....

Girl I thought I was going to find the end of the internet before I found you a link! As mentioned before "Shaving" is removing stuff and filling the hole. Common things to shave (on a car) are emblems, door handles, antenna, and trunk locks. Shaving these obstructions makes the car look cleaner and smoother. Some people take it too far and remove all traces of style and end up with a jelly bean looking blob of a car.

Frenching (things on a car) is really hard to explane with out a picture. I found one! Frenching is commonly done to headlights and antennas. Frenching also makes a car look smoother and cleaner because you don't see the base anttena bracket or the headlight buckets. Frenching stuff is usually left to early 60's 50's Kustoms and Mini trucks (Kustom car guys with only enough money to buy a high milage rusty Mazda B2200's)

Frenched antenna (this freakin' link better work!

I don't know about frenching the windsheild, but flush mounting the glass and ditching the stupid trim would be kool. Hairy glass sells a hood that extends back to the windshield. (You need to remove the wiper cowl, it is intended for race cars). I think one of these hoods with hide-away wipers would clean up the lines also.
