hey all, i went to start my '93 (5.0 5 speed) up today and it didnt turn at all on the first try. it went "click". on the second try it fired right up like a champ. so, now its only a matter of time before im rolling down hills and pop startin it lol
my biggest question is whether a *****terzone replacement starter is good, or do i need a ultra high performance dope-ass chrome blazed mini starter for my wicked, ground-pounding bone-stock 5.0?
this car is my dd (currently restoring a 68 mercury cougar, so the 5.0 is my neglected beater for now) so i want it done quick and cheap. do the high torque mini starters need larger diameter wiring? my car is still 2g alternator and everything.
Also, is it possible the NSS is acting up and thinking i didnt have the pedal all the way down? are there any other common, dumb solutions like that?
thanks dudes
