I'm not a fan of the aluminum door either. Would look good on a silver car maybe.

i hate those aluminum fuel doors.

Paint it black, THEN it would be TRICK.

I want to buy one and match the color of the car so it will blend in... but not keep it alumuim

There is just too much contrast with the fuel door on a black car. The shorty antenna would look good if you just painted it black. I'm probably gonna get one soon, maybe a shorter one, but black. I might even shoot for just putting the thing in the fender and shaving the mounting piece all together

I would not put the fuel door on mine, but I would put the antenna on if it was black. I don't too much care for the aluminum coloring.

I have mixed feelings about the fuel door... It makes the fuel door stick out making me wonder if people would be more inclined to put stuff in your gas tank because of it...

Does anybody know if they make like a short stubby black antanna?

yes, they do... take a look at the link in the sig. there's a few shots where you can see my stubby black antenna.

i say if you're going to get a fuel door get the automatic type that opens with a remote. you're going to bring attention to it, it might as well have it do something special.

Nothing specifically with your car, but I never was a fan of those fuel doors. Short antenna looks ok.
