Is the distributor from a 90 5.0 mustang the same as any other?

Well what you are looking for are things like:

Did the distribtor come from a roller motor? If so then you can use it in another roller motor. If not the steel gear will chew a non-roller camshaft.

Is the distribtor a TFI module unit. If so then its a perfect swap into the MK7 engine.

Any distribtor from a roller camshaft (HO) engine will work.

Valve covers are a driect swap
