is the engine brace stock?on 95

is the brace stock?the support brac that runs across the the engine from like strutower to strutower and welded on the firewall too kinda...?...95 gt 5.0 just wondering cause i see alot of stangs newer w/out them

Yeah, its stock. I'm not sure whether its stock on newer cars, but some people might take them off for intake clearance. Mine is off til I get one that clears my intake.

I believe it was standard on the 94-98 convertibles only to shore up structural support with the absence of the roof structure. There is also an X-brace located below the engine as well.

I found out that 95 GTs' have both the strut tower brace and g-load brace stock straight from the factory. Mine does have both. Steeda claims that Ford started doing this after they used them on earlier stangs that they modified.

All 94-95 GT's came with the strut tower brace.
