Is the stock valve body a good valve body ?

I'm considering changing the valve body to get a manual/automatic type of valve body.
Right now, i'm considering 3 options :
The most expensive : Lentech valve body (550 can$)
The middle one : PA valve body (400 can$)
The least expensive : Stock oem recalibration.

For about 250$ canadian I can get a stock oem ford valve body with manual automatic capabilities with o/d delete switch.

Any of you know/has seen something like that ? Do you think I should even consider going the stock oem route ?

I have no experience w/ autos but I always here people talking about the Lentech valve bodys being the way to go.
