is the typhoon intake manifold worth it?

if it didnt damage the engine that would be my next choice for sure.....like 75 shot or what? whats the most i could do without risking too much?

Best advice given yet.

Torque convertor and a shift kit will make her feel like an entirely different car. You will also need a chip or a programmer to compensate for the TC. It'll also correct for the extra mileage you're stacking on at the moment too.

I agree a TC and the supporting mods would be a great idea also. In addition to what SanMan mentioned you will need a tranny cooler with TC. I think the NOSzle would be cheaper than the complete TC operation but you do not have to be refilling a bottle with the TC. The TC will always be ready to throw you back in your seat. Also nitrous is cheating...

the TC sounds like the way to go. I want something i can tell a difference with, and this sounds like it's it. what do you reccommend for a TC as far as what RPM to get? It;s a daily driver so i dont want something to insane but i want to be thrown into my seat

I agree with everyone else in here though; Aftermarket manifoldes are really only good for blown applications.
