Is there a way to change the heads without removing the whole AC bracket?

Looking to port and polish my heads while the car is in the garage in a million pieces.
Thanks

PS, I'm basically to cheap to go out and buy a PS pulley puller, looking for alternatives

no you cant. the bracket bolts to the head.

You can just grind a wrench down, and slide it between the power steering pulley and bolt. Then work the bolt out slowly. This way works much better IMO, rather then getting a puller.

That's how I do it. My power steering pump and A/C compressor are still bolted to the bracket sitting on top of my tool box. Just to lazy to do the extra steps.

Hmmmm, mine don't seem to have a hole any bigger than the others, however, maybe this could be a possibility, since i don't have a 2 ton jack handle laying around. Besides, every time i try to do something like that the stupid wrench falls right in my face, ouch. I was thinking of taping it on there or something, but then i can't move it over when i need to get an extra turn, doh.
