A paint booth for your garage made from maybe, canvas or plastic or nylon or something?

I mean, like some sort of tent kit or something for a garage with zippers etc., designed to keep the dust out.

Anyone ever seen something like this?

Yeah, I know you can just use plastic sheets and whatever but I was just wondering if there was something out there that was designed for quick setup and tear down that was reusable and designe specific.

They make pop up styles for spray tanning, but I am not sure if they make one big enough for a car. A pop up clean room would work, but that will be costly.

Here's a link you might like 63 Jaguar XKE Restoration

Hehe... that's almost exactly what I had setup in my garage when I was spraying furnature. The only difference was that I had just a single fan pulling air out through an external window but nothing pushing air in.

Thanks for the link!

I might be able to put some kind of modular frame together that can be taken down and put back up.

Yea, do a build thread or something, haha. I'm curious to see it done, I'm really tempted to paint my car this spring/summer.

When painted my car i made a paint booth. I used 6 furnace filters with a heavy plastic. I cut holes in the sides and taped in the furnace filters in I wrapped 2 by 4s with the plastic and then screwed then to the ceiling and also held them down with with 2 by 6s. I then used a huge cattle fan ( from Iowa) to pull air through the door from the open windows in the shop. It worked really well exept for the light. I had no contaminants in my pain at all. I will post pictures tonight if i can find them.

Was gonna say, last time I shot one was in the garage. Went to lowes and bought 10 or so drop cloths and tape and just got funky. taped up walls, cieling, floor, rolled one door down onto 3 box fans and taped ac filters in the side door for an inlet . ran neg pressure. Only problem was my feet started sticking to the plastic on the floor after a while....that and not enough light. Dark blue soaks up light terribly and it's hard as hell to get enough to see your holidays...but that's not the booth's fault.

Also a buddy of mine made four corner stands out of 2x4's and strung rope around the top tight and pulled plastic over it...said it worked great.
