I would wait for a stick and go with a snake but thats me if i had it to do over again i would have went with the 4v.

Buy his cobra, you will be much happier, i wish i had a 4v as well, went with an 03 gt, coulda had a 99cobra with a blower by now for the money i have spent... But the ladies do LOVE the fact that its an 03, let alone a mustang. Definitly go with a manual at least, if you can spring for the cobra you will be happy in the long run.

If you like the idea of an automatic, if the vehicle is in good condition, and if you like it, Ide say go for it. The price sounds pretty good. If you feel unsure, if the vehicle has any problems with it, or if you'de rather have a stick then Ide wait till I found what I really wanted. In the end its up to you. I have a 2001 auto GT thats black w/ the premium package and I love mine.

Once you go SVT you never go back to a GT

Unless you've got the money to mod the trans, go with a
5 speed and you'll be much happier.
Look around at other stangs in that price range and you'll
probably find something you like better.
