i found a guy who is selling his T5 tranny from a wrecked 89 mustang with 90k for $350. Is this a good deal? if so, what things should i look for and ask when i go see it?

i also found another guy who says he's selling a 1965-66 ford mustang T5 conversion which is a rebuit tranny from a 1990 5.0, a brand new centerforce dual friction clutch, new throw-out bearing new 5 speedadapter plate, and a new crossmember for $500.
how does this sound?

$500 kit seems like pretty good deal if the transmission is good and if all the parts are correct and in good shape. used T5s can be had for pretty cheap on local mustang forums(200ish).... but that kit is probably a good deal

someone once said that the conversion kit is sold at most part houses, but i just want to know if i should wait or if i should jump on this sale?
