For $749 a kit - upper and lower and fuel rails. Price isn't an issue. The issue is I need a good intake for a 347. The tubular gt40 just ain't gonna cut it. It was gonna be a 351 based stroker but for reasons it's gonna be an all forged sportsman block 347 shortblock from CHP. The cam will be custom. The heads are Trick Flow R's that are fully cnc'd with a 2.08 intake valve (thats about all I know about the heads). It will carry the old supercharger as well, that was hitting 10 psi. This isn't for my 347 set-up, its for a buddy. We have just torn down his old set-up and gonna be ordering all the new stuff in the next couple of weeks and all the old stuff will hit Ebay tomorrow.
Is there a better intake? Edelbrock Performer, Victor, Holley Systemax or will the CHP Spyder be good?
