I have a car for sale in the classifieds a guy from denmark has emailed me several times saying he wants the car. I have gave him my phone # but he has not called only emailed. Is this a scam? Has anyone else had a similar experience? This guy seems overly interested in my car says he will take care of shipping and even give $100 more than I am asking just to hold it for him. Sounds kinda weird.

There are a couple of people that had the same thing happen to them it is more than likley a scam, ususally they ask for a money order for whatever extra they send you.

He'll send you a money order that's no good... by the time the bank finds out he walks away with your $$$... If it's on this site notify Timmeh

Thanks, it must be a scam according to what everyone has been saying. If it sounds too good be true ...it probably is.

Just get his payment and hold your car until the funds clear, but tell him first come first serve.

Yea, he sent me the exact same request for my weld rims, i knew better than to even respond.
Like someone else said he is going to ask for a small money order, so that he knows that he can "trust" you..................scam
