is this normal??? imput please

i recently bought myself a 96 cobra and i didnt notice during the test drive but.... do you know how when your driving a stick, and its in nuetral, and you pull the stick to the left and let go the stick pops back to the center, well it does on most cars ive driven, but not this cobra... is that normal??? please give me your imput on the situation... thank you
