Is this normal?
When you pull the spout connector in order to check timming,
My car runs rough, and if I try to open the throttle a little bit enough to prevent the engine from stalling, it will misfire. When I install the plug everything is fine. Its just kind of hard to check timming i guess!

Any comments?
Please!

it is normal for the car to run slightly rough. it shouldnt stall though.

Mine doesn't run rough at all with the Spout out. I've heard of people with MSD's having this problem. Try bypassing it while you set your timing.

that could possibly be why my idle is slightly erratic with the spout off. i never knew the msd could cause problems.
