Is this normal?

I just installed a O/R X pipe about 2 weeks ago, and now it smells like there is unburnt gas coming out of the exhaust, is this ok? Could the x pipe cause the car to run lean or rich? and if this is a problem, what can I do to fix it.

it's normal, nothing to worry about man off road pipes are a bit on the stinky side

Since you bought an off road pipe there are no catalytic converters. Therefore, any unburned hydrocarbons are coming out of the tailpipes, instead of letting the catalytic converters doing their job. There will also be more sulfur dioxide (SO2), which smells like rotten eggs, and carbon monoxide, which is odorless, but still polutes. Congrats on your new found power.

It's normal. Mine's even worse since I have side exhaust, but it sounds wicked!!!!
