Is this normal?

Ever since my t-5 swap, my rpms drop between gears. I know it will since I'm putting it into N, but Paul(punisher) was surprised when my RPMS would go down when I pulled out of gear. My idle doesn't hang at all, is that normal? Should I have at least a small amount of hang. It doesn't go dead but the RPMs will come down to 1000.

Thats odd... Does it do it all the time, even on a WOT run?

Nope. I mean I have no complaints. It drives fine and no problems on WOT either.

it really depends on how fast it drops RPMs. But it really does sound normal.

when i disconnected my IAC, the rpms would immediately drop between shifts like yours does--maybe that's it?

I thought you could change the settings in the tweecer, so that they drop much faster than normal. Did you play with those settings? I don't remember which one it is though.

You can adjust them via the TwEECer. Mine compression brakes harder than any 5.0 I've ever driven.

when my iac was really low, it did the same thing.

It may be my IAC, but I've got bigger problems now.

in the tweecer, the dashpot decay rate is what controls it.

if you haven't touched it, then it could be that your iac is not behaving correctly.
