Is this normal?

Hi,
I just got my Stang a little less than a week ago, love the car so far but had a few questions. I had been hearing some clicking from the rear end at low speeds and sharp turns. I suspected a locker in there, so right after driving it earlier I jacked up both sides of the car so the rear wheels spun free, and when I turn one wheel, they both turn in the same direction. When one wheel is on the ground, it's really hard to turn the other one. Does this mean I have a locker or does this indicate a problem? And my question is regarding the amount of transmission and shaft noise, there seems to be a lot of it. Like between gears I can hear the shaft and the clutch knocking around a little, and I can also hear some whirring and stuff and sometimes going into 5th I'll hear what sounds like a little grind from the synchros, but it also sometimes comes in 2nd and 3rd too. Am I just really paranoid or is all this normal? My buddy with a Camaro SS said all his friends with terminator Cobra's and GT's do the same thing, but I'd rather hear it from you guys.
Thanks in advance

The rear end has a trac-lock limited slip, both wheels should spin the same way. I also have a clicking type sound coming from the rear, but at all speeds, straight or turning.

I also have some tranny noise when engauging 3rd (most prominent here, other gears do it less) any other time than normal driving, like when dropping a gear to 3rd and trying to catch the RPM's up to match the gear I get a clunk.

Tranny shouldnt grind though, but there is a HUGE thread on the T-3650 issues... check it out and see if you have any of them.

Ok cool. The tranny seems ok, but only probably one out of every 4 shifts into 3rd i'll feel something in the shifter, but there's no audible grind and no real resistance. Is this something to be worried about? Also, should I change the rear end gear lube? What kind of fluid and additives do I need? Do I need a special additive for the trac-lok?
