Is this the fan connector? 98 GT 4.6l

The cable follows into the fan computer box next to the air intake. I can’t find anywhere to plug this in to and my fan doesnt work and coolant gets way too hot
 
It looks correct. One wire (bk) should be ground and the other two come from the CCRM, which controls the On/Off of the low and high speed fan functions. I'd check the input to the CCRM (usually two yel/bk wires) that feed the fan relay side of it. If those are 12v HOT all times, you have power going to the CCRM. Now you have to figure out if it's the CCRM and it's controlled microprocessor, or something else. Fan is controlled via the CCRM. It also looks like that plug hasn't been connected to anything for awhile. Your fan plug should be attached to the shroud.

Thank you for your reply. I will test it once I come to that point. Mean time, the previous owners installed a fan connected to a third party thermostat switch and that controls the fan. Thanks for your help tho brother

Maybe that's why it's disconnected. :) The thermostat switch should (usually) ground the circuit through a relay which then feeds the fan. If they still used the stock fan, you need to find a relay that's powering the fan, or another source that's sending 12v. to the fan. The switch would then ground (complete) the circuit to enable the fan. HOWEVER, that switch should go through a relay. It's too much of a load using the switch as the contact.
