I went to get an estimation on getting just the back seats reupholstered. Just plain black cloth, im supplying the backing of the seats (came with the carpet kit)probably a black vinyl on the bottom where the grey vinyl was. With 5 yards of material (I think it was called oregon) and everything else came to 650, thats identical to the original stitching of the seats. That seem like too much or pretty much in the area. Also if the backing of the seats would be no good he said if they had the same plastic type backing like the carpet has.

Check this place out:
http://www.dashdesigns.com/seat-covers.cfm

I'm going there to get covers for front and back seats instead of re-upholstering.

They made seat covers for my stepdad's truck and they look like original upholstery
