allright, so..... would that set of calipers and rotors I posted earlier be what I'm looking for as far as the actual brakes? Has anyone seen them cheaper? I seem to recall finding cobra front and rear calipers in a summit cataloug for 499.99 but now I can't the book.

500 bucks for calipers?? Hit the junkyards man. Both my notches had my junkyard brakes on them. I made sure everything was in working order, sanded them down and painted them. Looks like new, and they don't give me any problems.

My entire 5lug setup was from a Junkyard.

The only thing i bought new was the North Racecar Brackets and e-brake cables.

Oh another thing, I have no idea WTF bumpsteer kits do

Well you get the calipers, pads, Brembo rotors and stainless brake lines.

My Mach 1 kit was $310 for all that stuff which i thought was pretty good.

I have a mix of junkyard and new stuff on my conversion, and in total it cost me about $700ish.

On lowered cars, they keep the tie rods parallel to the road because if they are at an angle, the wheel tends to pull in slightly when it hits a bump and cause the car to steer oddly

I guess once my car is running and aligned i'll have to see how bad she steers over bumps. Thanks for straighting that up!!

Where did you get the kit from? That's the lowest price I've heard of.
