Is your driver's side window switch backward like mine?

My 03 GT driver side window switch is opposite of my intuition and of the operation of my 03 F150. When I push my F150's switch all the way down, my window goes all the way down. A half push only operates the window for as long as the switch is pressed. My GT is opposite: Half push is all the way down, full push is only for as long as it's held. This small problem drives me crazy. WTF, is a wire backward on my GT?

Mustangs come with the "1-touch" window switches. Just tap it and the window goes all the way down. Personally, I like this feature.

I know what you mean. The drivers switch in my Saturn is like that. You can actually feel when the switch is pushed all the way down and when its half way. If that makes sense.. But now all the windows are fully auto up and down. :D

I like how the Mustang is set up though.

my guess is that if you are a passenger you have nothing else to do so holding the button will not bother you....but if your driving you are also "driving" so a tap will keep your mind free to watch other things...lol, not that its really that hard to hold a button

At least it's not like my buddy's GTI - Tap the switch to crack the window, it starts going all the way down. Try to stop it by tapping it the other way, it goes all the way up. Back and forth like this about 3-4 times just so I can smoke a smoke :shakeshead: It's like nobody at VW ever thought a person might want the window somewhere between all up and all down.
