well i finally got the rearend back from the shop, installed yesterday i'll break it in today 3 ,10 mile trips with 30 minute inbetween only problem is its making the same noise as before but less of it,

funny thhing is that i spent 2 hours trying to figure out why the rear end was so high and it turns out that since i had the front on jackstands tightened it like that lower the front, retorqued all bolts and it fixed it so i decided to take some skin off my index finger so i have a greasy hand with a pink section but i cant wait to see what my exhuast swap contain, how many fingers do you think i'll lose?

and it only cost me $25 to get the axle tubes welded,:nice: they told me $80 but charged me $25:D

but it was worth it in the end:nice:

thanks to all those who helped,:SNSign: :nice:

You say it makes noise

If its gear whine or a howling noise

You might look at or consider the following

First ... Lets consider mechanical issues

If the gear set is setup wrong, noise is gonna be present
If the gear set was setup wrong
and
You drove it around some
Even though the gears are now correctly setup
The noise will most likely continue for the life of the gear set

You may have a bearing that is causing the noise

You may have the angle at the drive shaft too steep

Might just be the noise is made by the transmission

If you have suspension mods like harder bushings, control arms,
or stuff like that, the normal noise a rear end makes is gonna
be transmitted up through those suspensions mods
and
it will most certainly be WAY more noticeable ...............
yet
everything is all fine in the rear end

Just an idea or two for you to think about :D
