Its confirmed, I am going to Washington (the state)

I found out today I will be on my way to the Seattle area soon. Silverdale actually, but it looks pretty close to Seattle.

Anyone out there, I am always looking for new stang and fellow Ford owners. Looking for some info on car clubs that direction. I am in a few here, and all the people I have met have been a lot of fun. I am really into car shows and back road ralley events.

Hope to see some fellow StangNeters out there.

All the work on my Cobra has been done by myself, except for the alignment and the rollbar install. I had a friend help with the rollbar.............

I am all for helping out where I can with others installs.

Oh no man!! That sucks! When do you have to move out? Are you down to work on the suspension this weekend?

Not sure when I am leaving here, but I have a part time job for now putting in some alarms. I will be busy most of the weekend unfortunatly, but I can help in the evenings. Give me a call, and we will figure something out to get it done..........

silverdale is physically close to seattle but because of the puget sound about about 80 miles by car, or 12 bucks by the ferry, and good luck with traffic, i lived there, why silverdale?

Doesn't have to be Silverdale really. Just the closes reference point I could come up with. With gas prices, its worth the 12 dollar ferry ride.

I am actually going to Bremerton, which all looks to be isolated from the mainland. I don't know though. Never really been there for more than a weekend. I just want to live close to the Sub base, but not too close.

If you are going to the subbase, live in silverdale, it is then nicer place to live. Bremerton is a hell hole. Nothing over there is very close, the ferry ride is a SOB because you wait in line forever, traffic is an SOB over the tacoma narrows bridge, i hated living up there, and i am fawking glad i am gone.

Thanks for the info. I have been looking at places there and in Gig harbor. I don't mind a little drive, I will have to be at work by 6:45a.m. so I usually miss most of the traffic. Can't be worse than my San Diego commute right past San Diego State every morning........

Traffic starts over there very early in the am, coming from north seattle expect to hit it about 5:30, on the side of the sound you are, i dont remember what time traffic got bad, but coming from gig harbor you would be going against the flow of traffic. When i lived over there i left my house at 3:45 to get to everett on time every day

My daughter owns a house in Silverdale my ex son-inlaw was at Bangor sub base.
I think she is trying to rent her house out!
