It's Engine Building Time!!!!

OK guys, I am pretty much going to mimic this http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles/116_0307_ford/, with the exception that I am going to change the cam and have 1.6 roller rockers. Now, my question is, If I were to get a rebuild kit (with forged pistons), Would this all work with a truck/lincoln/non HO 5.0?

its a good idea but i just not into the whole carb thing

this isn't for a mustang, its for my truck. So its not a daily driver, just a weekend warrior
