Drake and I are sitting in the living room renting Oscar and Floyd.....damn I hope Oscar can pull it off........after Floyd talked smack about the ufc people I hope Oscar teaches him some humility...........................we will see....

I think Oscar will pull it off.

But I'm more of a UFC guy, so I'm really lookin forward to Liddell vs. Jackson...my money is on Chuck :nice:

Tito will be on MadTV tonight as a guest star apparently, I'm gonna check that out too.

I like both.......I am a Kempo practitioner so I have always liked Chuck.....and you may remember Keith Hackney from the original days.....
shoud be a good fight with rampage........

Hey Danny.....Mayweather by split decision.......it was a good fight....only because Oscar made it.......

one guy made the fight.....the other one won it.....lol

I know that boxing isn't always like Gotti/Ward fights.....it's a chess game...stategic/etc......technical.....I commend the guys that have a game plan and execute it....

now with that being said.....all that chit that Floyd said about a massacre.....He Bit**ed up...........big time.....If Oscar would not have chased him down...or tried to....I would have fallen asleep........
It was worth the price....I get it pay per views 1/2 off....lol

It was a very good fight........but NO EPIC like others......

It's like Oscar said. If he didn't press the fight there wouldn't have been one. I have no doubt in my mind that Mayweather could beat him. His strength and quickness are impressive. But I don't think he deserved the win. He just didn't put anything into it. The only one trying was De La Hoya while Mayweather sat on his heals and walked backwards and defended myself. I just don't think you should win if your only playing it safe like that.

I didnt watch the fight, as im kinda tired of boxing.. What do you guys think of the UFC compared to boxing? I think the UFC is hands down wayyyyy better and much more exciting. I feel that we arent too far off from seeing UFC highlights on sportscenter as the sport contiues to grow at such a rapid pace.

And im very interested to see what are gonna do now that they bought PRIDE.. Seeing the best of pride versus the best of ufc will be awesome

I don't compare the two......they are not the same to me.....Do I believe one could beat the other ...yes....on their turf....
A boxer could beat most if not all UFC people in a boxing match......and visa versa....take one jab...shoot and submit Mayweather......:rlaugh:
Me and other adults from our school used to watch all the original UFC's on PPV and have a party......the public used to throw a fit about the brutality......and I think you will always have that.....but it is heading toward mainstream....well...it's kinda here now.....but it has a little way to go........ but the guys that compete......are trained and they are warriors to take to the cage...........I will always like boxing as well......I just have started to hate the hype leading up to the fights....but.....you have to sell those tickets...

Mayweather's hometown is Grand Rapids where I live so he was definitely the favorite around here. It was a joke though. De la Hoya is just a slopping fighter who lands no punches. The percentages were funny. Mayweather is clearly a better fighter. I think there are plenty of boxers who could get in the ring and throw punches with little accuracy. The win didnt surprise me at all. The split decision however did. I mean how can you be split on your decision when one guy just throws random shots all over the place never connecting and the other throws and lands a great deal of them. Maybe he played it a little safe, but who cares. He's an accurate and clean fighter. Can't say the same for De la Hoya.
