BTW...don't forget that the 5.0 is back, at least in name...
I get the "is it a 5.0???!?!?" ALL the friggin time. And the funny thing is, the 96-98 GTs even have "4.6" written on the side!!!
But what is so, SO much worse, is when you say, "No, it has the 4.6", to which they reply, "Oh, dang, that sucks man. I don't know why they ever went away from that 5.0 to a smaller motor."
And occasionally, I'll get the "I had 5.0 swap, big block ya know, in my old Town Car. Man, that thing would MOVE!"

The 4.6 has a bore and stroke that are nearly equal, which makes a nicely balanced street engine, but it doesn't particularly like to rev like the 5.0 would (in modified form).
