jacking up 99-04

hey, im trying to remove and install new exhaust. what is the best way of jacking the 99-04 mustangs up w/o damaging anything?

any tips/tricks on installing mid pipe and catback would be greatly appreciated too...

I jacked mine at the two rear jacking points. That way the suspensions is free, you'll have better access to remove and install the catback. I just cut my old catback off right after the mufflers. I just put the my catback together like the instructions said and had no problems. message me if need any questions.

don't jack it up

Never use jack stands when you are removing exhaust, there is a chance the car could fall on you, use either ramps or a lift to be safe, make sure the exhaust has cooled down when you work on it,

detailed Instructions

you'll want to wd-40 the bolts and let them sit before trying to remove them, and get yourself a big torque wrench to get them off, most of your time will be consumed getting the stock parts off, the new exhaust should slip right on

well i got the POS cat back stock exhaust off. tomorrow ill atempt the midpipe...

wow does it sound weird with just the stock mid pipe and no catback. just deep not loud..those 4 cats suck ass.

Yeah, jack it up then throw it on stands. Don't risk anything by trying to save like 10 minutes, do it right.

yea the cats muffle the sound alot, wait untill you get them off!!!
