JB Weld on Upper Intake?

Anyone think I could reattache a broken ear back onto a Performer upper intake using JB Weld? Crooks around here want $200 to weld and machine.

JB Weld rules! It will work fine, you just got to let it cure properly.

Those ears suck dont they! Been there done that...it works just make sure you get it lined up first-that sucks about the $200 thing...my buddy welded and machined mine for $30

I sold a performer intake to a guy in dallas with a broken ear. his buddy fixed it really easy. he is on dfwstangs and pm me if you want his info. Also i got some quotes of $20-30 to fix mine here in austin. All you do is bolt the upper to the lower and the piece you broke off down too. Then you have it welded and it will be a pefect fit.
