Who has which. I know the matching JBA pipe is an H and the bassani is an X. I haven't been hearing many good reviews about bassani lately and alot of problems with the x pipe. Any thoughts? Long tubes are out of the question because the car is too low (2.25 drop and I don't want to worry about scraping). I will be changing out headers when I do my PI swap next month.

Jba's are way expensive right now. as for power I have not seen jba on a N/a car yet.

those 30hp numbers on the jba are on a blown car and the 30hp numbers on the bassani are bs or on a blown car.

the artical I saw on the bassani's were like 6hp and 10lbs. that is just headers though the car already has an x-pipe so that is a decent increase. there was more hp low in the band like 10-12 hp at the bottom. the 6hp was peak and peak numbers are not the end all.

righ now untill the price comes down the bassani's are a no brainer in my opinion. they are $300 less.

Thanks all! I would prefer longtubes but my car is too low and I don't want to worry about scraping the ground. I will be headswaping so I figured it would be best to do headers at the same time. I heard a sound clip of the JBA setup and it sounded awesome but a $300 price difference may kill that idea.

Sweet, just what I wanted to hear. How did the sound of your exhaust change after the bassani x and headers. I'm hoping for louder but the same distinct borla sound. Don't want it too high pitched.

quiksilver98, did you do the install on the midlengths? Did you have to have your X pipe cut then rewelded for it to fit? I am going with the Bassani's and would like to know if I can install them or have to have someone that can weld do it.

For the JBA midlengths you need either their catted H or O/R H pipe. The headers themselves will not change the sound very much at all, but the H will make your car louder and deeper toned.
