Pretty excited about it when I got my car back today. Drove it around and it seems to pull harder, or at least the rpm's climb faster. Couple of problems I noticed...the steering/power assist doesnt seem to be as smooth as before. kinda like the power assist is fighting with me. Feels like its not turning all the way and I have to muscle it to make it engage. The installer did say he dropped the steering arm, but nothing else was tampered with. Taking it to the dealership and try to fix it under warranty. The other thing I noticed is the car seems to vibrate more, especially when I turn on the ac. I chalk it up as a small nuisance, but its irritating. I checked all the bolts and dont see anything out of whack. Is it normal for the car to vibrate a bit, I thought the headers might be rubbing against something, but nope. All in all, Im quite happy, just gotta get the steering checked. Hopefully pickd up 10rwhp or so. Cams next baby!!!

Congrats. If you've dynoed before take a look at your before and after trq numbers across the board and your Hp across the board.

Perhaps the motor mount nuts are not fully tightened that might be some of the vibration.

Got all the problems sorted out and rob charged me 450.00 which included some custom down pipes from the mid length collector to the x pipe. Im quite happy now, just gotta get a tune and cams to compliment the headers. Should be solidly in the 12's soon!

Thought that might be it so I checked them, tight. I found the rubbing problem. I ask rob to tuck the mid pipe up as high as possible and when we checked it, i was rubbing the under carriage so slightly. I got an extra 1-2" of ground clearence so Ill leave it for now.

Sound clip mang, we need sound clips .

If you could do me a favor, and ask Henry how much cams and spings would be for me, that'd be great. Tell him Earl, the guy with the Duster and Monte, told me to go see him. Hope that gets me a discount .

Did u get the PM I sent u. Give me a call anytime man. I am trying to decide who to let install my cams, naka's or henry...I think they both do great work, but it comes down to tuning and cost. I think Im going with naka's as he can probably give me a pkg deal on everything.

It's too bad the JBA headers and so, darn expensive.
The JBA headers are great quality though.

The last time I saw Henry, he said he would ask one of his mechanics for a price to do the job. I guess that mechanic was the one who did my cylinder head replacement when it threw the plug.

Henry didn't get back to me though. If you get a price from him, let me know.

Thats a good idea man. Henry might not be the cheapest, but u get your moneys worth and a piece of mind that the job will be right.
