I disagree. The guy did his time, paid his fine, and has really turned his life around. If I made bad choices, had 2 DWI's which killed people, spent time in prison and paid substantive fines, should I never be allowed to drive again?
No way. I think it would be irresponsible to give him one. I can't say if he really has matured or not, but driving is a privledge and not a right, so should be animal owning.
