i seriously couldnt see a lockout happening, the NFL would lose a rack of money.

I wonder how that new contract with cable would work out if there was a lockout?

Plus it sounds like the 2011 season of NFL football is extremely iffy right now with the lockout...

If they put Lingerie Football in its place I'd say that would probably be a pretty successful substitute

We have a very solid defense and the makings of an awesome offense. We just need our offense to click better...Moss had only been with the team for 3 days and despite how amazing he is, he still needs to learn our routes/plays. If we can get them to click, we **SHOULD** almost be unstoppable. Opponents will have to effectively cover Moss (double coverage) which will leave Harvin and hopefully Rice open, and if they are covering all three of them effectively then Peterson should have no problem getting us 1st downs. Really our weakest link is Favre throwing his picks under pressure.

Unfortunately we are also a MN team which means, in the end, we will always choke when it counts the most and lose.

I agree with you regarding the defense they really do kick ass. I disagree however with the offense. The Vikings have some of the best talent in the NFL on offense, however the play calling has been horrible this season so far. I think it comes down to poor coaching. It's also disappointing that Favre thinks so highly of himself that it's alright for him to skip the practice season. It's obvious in every vikings game this year the offense looks like chit. Bad play calling and a group of people that don't know which way is up. For starters AP should get the ball much more often then he's been getting it so far this year. The penalties have also just killed them so far.

Poor old Colt got knocked around a little...I thought it was humorous that the commentators mentioned a few times how much McCoy was getting knocked around yesterday...and I was thinking, well- they chose to have him start his first game against the steelers...he's GONNA get knocked around in that circumstance
