JLT RAI install

My jlt kit came today and i read the instrutiopns and the only thing i'm confused about it the IAT sensor. What kind of grmmet should i use to install it?

PS. i ordered the black kit and the sent me true blue, it looks amamzing!!!

I would like to see pics of this also, im looking to order mine in a coulple of weeks and pics of the intake and install would be great.

truthfully i didnt actuallt try to put it on the car yet but i know i need to install the iac and i know i need to drill a hole for it but i need to know what kind of grommet i need i'll get pics up one its on the car

the kit doesnt have the proper holes already drilled? That sucks

it has the holes for all the other stuff just not the iac

RELOCATE THE IAT!!! Dont drill for it, just extend the wires and relocate the sensor to right next to the PASS headlight. If you can wait till sunday, ill take some pics for you of where I relocated mine. (I didnt have a sensor...had to buy one because mine was made into the MAF) This little mod made a HUGE difference...car doesnt get slower once it heats up like it used to. My MAF would get HOT and it thought i was sucking in 150* air and the EEC pulled timing...now its reading outside temps, same as the air its getting.

Just give me a PM and ill get back to you tommorow night. (have to work 12 hours tomorrow...dark to dark )

Does the JLT really make a difference? i was told that all Cais are pretty much the same.

that is a BIG debate..........dont get the guys started .

LOL im just sayin, i went to my boys at USA Motorsports here in Arlington Texas and they said they have ran dynos using several Different CAIs including JLT and......U guys aint goin to like this...MAC came out on top providing the most HP. This story was also done in MMandFF and u got it Mac outdid the Rest in HP gain lol
