i saw somewhere that if you ever take off the stock cmcv plates they can never be reinstalled b/c they have to be perfectly aligned to work. I want to know because I always like to have the option to return to stock if i desire.
that has been recently discussed on Modular Fords as well. You can reinstall them, you just have to make sure everything is lined up properly. Ford engineered these engines to be torn apart just like any other engine.
