So I've been wondering.....do you just have these massive, wonderfully informative, & picture/schematic endowed posts just saved somewhere so you can copy and paste them, or do you type those pages of information every time? heh

It's all saved in Microsoft Word format. Watch out for the blue text at the top of the document, it indicates something has changed from the original document.

The diagrams are done with Microsoft Visio, which is a really neat drawing package.

As much as I would like to claim to be able to instantly recall all the the details, I have to use the documents to refresh my memory for specific items.

At last count there was a little over 600MB of info in my Stangnet directory. That's Word documents, drawings and PDF's

For what it's worth, anytime I copy something from someone else, I always try to give them credit for their efforts.

And an ISO w/ all that info that I could burn and keep at home would be :nice:!

Exactly. I lost a lot of my library when my old laptop crashed. I'm hoping at some point I get a HD dock and am able to pull it all back off. However, to have that kind of a library right on a cd would be phenominal. Hell, I'd even seed it on a torrent for a week or 2. As you can see, my speeds are good enough to seed this for stangnet members.

The only problems with a permanent record like a CD is that the tech notes are a work that is constantly in progress. I learn new things from Stangnet and update the tech notes with that knowledge. That plus the need to put it up in a portable format like PDF would make it a very time consuming job. Maybe sometime in the future I will get motivated to do a library on CD. Until then just keep posting here on Stangnet and I will do my best to provide quality answers.

Thanks for the vote confidence and encouragement.
