Just a reminder that this is on Friday, hope to see you all out there.

We'll be running the quick 16 class as well as a 16 car import class and the Drag radial class. Last month we had a full 16 cars for the main class, and 8 in the import class, should be able to fill both fields this month pretty easily. The Drag Radial class should have 5 cars or so the way it looks at the moment, not too bad for the first event if you ask me.

Should be lost of good racin' :nice:

Thanks,

Eric

I'm planning on it...

The tranny is out of the truck waiting for the new one - found out today that it hasn't shipped yet. They are supposed to send it 2-day air and it should be in town by Thursday but that's gonna put me under the gun to get everything done.

I might need a tow vehicle...

Any offers?

You can use my F-350 if you want. Do you need a trailer too? Let me know and I will clean it out and bring it to work this week. :nice:

I want to see some nitrous passes!!!!

Jeff, The people who have told me they would be there for drag radial are Phill, Walley's dad, Dan and Joe. I had heard that you were planning to run a car as well for a total of 5 cars. There may be others that I don't know about but that's my list.

Cory, I'm not going to be staying very long for the reception unfortunetly because I have my grandmother's 80th birthday to attend that evening. You're welcome to ride with me if you'd like but you'd either have to leave early or find another ride home. give me a call.

Phill, Let me know if you still need a truck on thursday and if you want to come out to the house and get it you can use the dodge.

Thanks for the offers to both Jeff and Eric - I appreciate the help. I'm still remaining optimistic that I'll have my truck up and running and as soon as I know for sure what's happening I'll let you guys know.

Since I can't do any work on the truck right now, I've been doing a little testin' and tunin' on the GT. I think I've pissed off everyone within a 5 mile radius of the shop by now but it's getting real close to being a contender. I'm hoping that Friday night will be the night that I actually get to hit the button and make it work! :nice:

I know, I know. I'm figuring that once the car is competitive (read low 11's) then I'll start looking for weight reduction. But really, how much weight do you think I'll lose by pulling out the stereo and rear seat? Maybe 150 lbs? That will yield .1 - .15 off of my time? I'm looking for bigger gains than that right now with tuning. Don't get me wrong - I'm not disagreeing with you but I still think I've got more work to do on the tune right now and that's going to yield a higher return than the weight reductions.
