jumping rpm needle

when i get on the gas the rpm gets to 3500 and its starts jumping up and down while the car runs just fine. what should i check first?

yea the same thing just started happening with me anyone with any ideas

I have the same issue, my problem started when I put on new heads, and intake and moved my MSD box. I have checked all electrical conections.

The RPM needle acts normal under normal acceleration. IF you jump on it, thats when I see my my problem.
