i got to thinkin........we should get as many mustangs together as we can, in june or july sometime. and have a big cruise by the beach. i was thinking we could all meet in olympia, and go for a cruise out towards ruby beach. its a long fun twisty scenic drive towards the beach. then stop and eat somewhere in the evening. who all is up for something like that? i know mark is (assuming his car is either done, or not started lol) matt (from bonney lake) and john (the guy mark bought the axle from ) you guys better plan on going too. so who all wants to go? and tell us what stang youll be bringing

thats why i figured we could meet up in olympia. i say we find that 79 notch thats running around, and BS with him. maybe we can convince him to go to the foureyed BBQ with us too (if hes not an ass of course) i just think we need to get all the stangers we can find together, and have a nice cruise to the beach. i dont care if its a 64 1/2 or an 07. a stangs a stang. obviously some foxes would be nice. BTW noone with an SVO registered for the 4-eyed BBQ yet i still have yet to see an SVO. if we had something like this, there pretty much wouldnt be any rules. just as long as its a mustang its welcome.

olympia is only 2.5 hours from olympia if you go up the interstate...i went there by accident because i missed the US12 turnoff and it actually ended up being faster by about 15min, just a FYI for the vancouver stangers, regardless it will be a fun time, i can also arrange 1 night stay at the holiday motel in westport, special price for stangnet!

hey now that would be a great idea! but no matter what, we would have to take the cruise towards ruby beach. theres a few good places to get pics. theyre about 100 ft. above the beach, and they have a great overlook of the ocean. we need to get some people interested first though. you gonna have the 351 done by then? i know in june, i want to start on the bodywork, so it would probably have to be in july.

that it?? we need more people!!!i figure it could be the second week in july. ohh, i also didnt mention, that the highway going towrds the beach, is a long high speed windy road, with no cops, houses, and barily any traffic. it goes towards a reservation. its a blast. i was cruising at 100mph in my moms 05 stang no problem. and yes, there are a couple gas stations on the way, for the in-efficient mustangs. (pretty much everyone going except for me )

bad timing+HARD driving+other issues way put of wack= bad mileage. i was getting about 10-12 MPG. im hoping it increases when its actually built right (all pistons will be forged and dished this time ) since were on this subject.....i got the block bored, and there were bad castings in cyl. #1 and when they bored it, they found holes the size of pencil lead that lead into the water jacket. so now i have a junk block. thankfully matt gave me 2, so ill bring them the turbo block, and see what they can do. i have a feeling this one wont need to be bored. i just hope they dont charge me for the work they did on the s*** block. it should be back together in 2 weeks, if all goes as planned.

i think it will be the 2nd saturday in july, but it may change. thought about a trip towards ruby beach instead, but its not a real secluded road. the ruby beach road is nowhere near house most of the time. we need someone with an SVO to go.
well i got the machine work done to this block, and all went well. bored .30 over, and hes not charging me for the other block. soon as i get the rebuild kit, shell be going back together!
