Junk in my trunk PICS

I've had my car a month, but I haven't looked at the roof of the trunk before today. My old car just had a roof like normal, my new car has a bunch of **** screwed to it. I'm wondering if someone could explain what said **** is to me. Is it important? Do I need it? How can I get rid of it?

It looks like two amp like things, one on each side of a black plastic thing. I'm never going to put a system in my car, so if it's something to do with that than it's completely pointless to me.

It's two of the amps to the Mach 460 sound system. The third is behind/under the radio in the dash. Don't mess with them unless you are doing something aftermarket to the sound system.
