Okay... the "silver handle" is new info to me but, first (that I know of and I'm not the expert) there were the Blue handle and the Red handle (see mine below). The Red was a longer handle but still a shorter throw than stock and somewhat notchy and had the exceptional 2-3 shift. The Blue handle was shorter, shorter throw, somewhat notchy, had the exceptional 2-3 shift. I think the point of the Blue was for people that have a longer reach...
Then came the Orange that was a compromise between Blue and Red. Pretty much just a "reach" compromise. MGW is one hell of a nice shifter.
