i have one quick question. im using 4" for everything from the sc to the maf. the maf is about 3.5" on the outside (76mm ID). i was wondering what size pipe should i use to hook the maf to the air filter. the directions call for putting the air filter right onto the maf but s&l says their maf's dont work right that way. they said their maf needs a bend in the hose between the maf and the aif filter to work right. so i was going to put a 45* bent hose in between to "straighten" the air so its no so turbulant. will it matter if i use a 3.5" or 3" (i think 76mm is about 3") or does it have to be 4" to work? i think 3.5" would be perfect. then use a 3.5" k&n cone filter. i know the maf will be the smallest ID so as long as the ID of the pipe and filter are the same or larger then the maf i should be fine right? what size cone filter should i use? i got my kit from some one and he lost the filter so i have to buy one

I think the 3 1/2 would work ok. I doin't think I would go 3". If the 3 1/2 will clamp right on use it and I would probably use an 8" long cone filter. Good luck
