Like I said, I just bought hypercoated 18x9 and 18x10 FR500s. I'm curious how off the speedo will be. Will it be small enough to live with? Whats the easiest/cheapest way to fix it? Thanks.
Check the time manufacturer's website. They'll publish a rotations per mile figure. Compare your stock tires to the new tires. Probably nothing to worry about.
As long as you get the correct tire size in the back, your speedo really shouldnt be off at all. Since the wheel is now bigger, than means the sidewall will have to be smaller to keep the same overall diameter. A 285/35/18 or 295/35/18 out back will be pretty damn close to stock diameter.
Thanks guys. I was thinking that there would be more error than that. I went cheap and bought the sumitomo HTZ IIs all around. 265/35-18 up front and 285/35-18 out back. As heavy as my foot is, I don't want to keep buying $250 tires every 5k miles, lol.
